Internal Sales Representative

Up for a challenge? Keen to help develop our customers so they sell more of our products? Love communicating with customer and prospects? Happy to deal with objections and rejections as you know your way around it? Like the products we wholesale? If you say yes to all these and other questions, then this job has your name on it!

We are a wholesaler of ARTastic casual clothing, cheeky loungewear and fun and inspirational giftware, stationery and drinkware. From our office and warehouse in the South West we sell and ship internationally. We are looking for someone with drive and personality who is happy to talk to prospects and customers with the aim to grow sales. This is an existing role in a growing sales team whereby your focus will be on working closely with key customers from within the UK and across Europe. You will have the opportunity to have face to face customer contact at trade shows.

We'll train you up in all you need to know but do expect you to bring developed sales skills to the role. Apart from that we expect the right candidate to have initiative, personality, discipline, focus, drive, passion and a good dose of fun.

The Role

* We need you to develop sales of our product range both to selected customers who already love our products and through following up new business leads, product launches. promotions and other marketing activities.

* You will need to pro actively contact customers. Predominantly by phone in order to build a great rapport with them as well as by email.

* There will be a plan to work to but within that we expect a high level of self management.

* Supporting the Sales & Marketing Director with key account activities and trade show planning.

* Take part in selected trade shows.

* Make sure that all customer orders are communicated clearly with our customer service & sales administration team.

The Required Skills & Qualifications

* You know how to make someone interested and turn that interest into sales.

* You are a natural people-person with born sales skills and some good experience (but we would not mind if you also have enjoyed sales training).

* Engaging communicator with great telephone voice and skills.

* Dealing with objections and rejection makes you even more eager to close a deal.

* You know your way around the usual Microsoft software (Word, Outlook, Excel) and are used to logging customer contact information in a CRM system.

* You must have a valid driving license as you might have to drive hire cars during trade shows.

* Your English is excellent and it would be great if you bring other language skills to the role.

The Package

* Base salary depends on experience (historic customer retention, upselling results, overall sales achievements).

* Bonus for show attendance.

* Sales targets related bonus.

This could be just another internal sales role or it could be one that is something different whereby you really get the chance to build strong relationships and help our customers sell more.
